No selling or rehoming of ferrets at the show. (if a ferret is being surrender to rescue placement and the show is being used as a collection point, please contact us)
No pregnant or nursing jills
No ferrets who have been ill within the last 3 weeks.
No ferrets with open wounds or stitches still in situ.
The judges decision is final.
The trustees have the right to turn away anyone who brings the show into disrepute.
The trustees reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual.
Dogs are NOT allowed.
No kits under 12 weeks to be at the show.
No walking of ferrets in the hall or grounds.
Ferrets can only enter into one coloured class. But can enter any of the novelty classes that they fit into.
Competitors are asked to keep their areas tidy.
No animals to be left in cars!!
The rescue classes explained.. if your ferret was rescued from Fluffy Retreat Ferret Rescue, it should go into that class. If it was rescued from any where else it should go into the sex appropriate rescue class. You cannot enter the same ferret in both the rescue and the fluffy retreat rescue class. This is because there is a challenge / championship for these classes.
Ferrets must have appropriate sized accommodation for the day, indoor rabbit type cages and playpens are ideal.
Working boxes and small carriers are not appropriate.
Cages are not provided by the show, you must bring your own.
All ferrets to have food and water supplied by owner throughout the day.
Ferrets should be flea treated at least two weeks prior to the show.
PLEASE NOTE: NO animals other than ferrets will be allowed into the show hall. Our agreement with the hall is for ferrets / hybrid polecat-ferret. Any other animals WILL be turned away at the door. We are not insured for other animals and the hall have their own restrictions on the animals allowed, therefore we have to say a blanket no.
